We spent a few hours today fetching firewood – yes, we have started to prepare for winter. Interestingly enough it’s not my kids who are unloading the wood, it’s the neighbors kids who wanted to help out … and I’m not going to say ‘no’ to such wishes

I snapped this photo on my way to climb up onto the roof. I need to check the roof before autumn/winter arrives — and YES, of course I have my camera with me when I climb up on the roof there might be some interesting there

While walking home I noticed that some kid had lost his/her ball. I hope they find it again

Today I got the chance to walk the last bit home – which usually is pretty nice. When it’s like this it’s perfectly OK

The university is still a pretty desolate place, only a few studens have arrived and it feels like the whole place is just waiting for something to happen.
Well, this "something" is probably monday next week, then it’s time for the new students to arrive to start their "refresher courses", some of the older students will also arrive and int two weeks this will be a busy place.
They are repairing the road from Umeå to the village where I live. This means that we get to drive on the wrong side of the road, stand in line, wait, etc.
But it’s going pretty fast to I’m not complaining, hopefully we’ll have an excellent road within a few days.
Ending the day with a cup of tea
