Camera+ 1.2 – really nice

Posted by on 2010-07-25 in Photography | 0 comments

I bought Camera+ when it first was released and I thought it was a nice application. Nice, but not incredible good – then came version 1.1 which improved the whole experience. Good but still not something special. A few days ago came version 1.2 and it has one feature that I really like and that made Camera+ really interesting – the ability to control where the camera focus *and* independently control the exposure. This feature makes it really easy to control the exposure, here are few example that I just took. In all photos the focus in on the trees above the roof – the...

Looking for stories

A few years back I got a digital point-and-shoot and I started to take photos again, at first only a few each year – now somewhere in the range of 20 000 – 30 000 images per year. Which mean that I’m not a super-interested amateur but probably more interested...

The Daily Shoot

Posted by on 2009-11-23 in Photography | 0 comments

A few days ago James Duncan Davidson wrote a blog post about how he and a friend talked about getting a daily photo challenge … after a while they came up with the The Daily Shoot project. The idea is simple – every day they send out a challenge on Twitter, for example todays challange is “How do ants see the world? Change your viewpoint. Make a photograph with your camera at floor level.”, and your task is to try to take a photo that meet this challenge. Next you upload the photo and reply to the tweet with a link to the photo. The important thing to remember is that...
